Purpose
Basic Memory NAS Backup is a personal backup utility used by its owner to store copies of Basic Memory Markdown backups in the owner's Google Drive account.
Google user data accessed
The application requests only the Google Drive drive.file scope. This allows it to create and manage Google Drive files that the application creates or that the user explicitly authorizes it to access.
How data is used
Google Drive access is used solely to upload, verify, retrieve, and maintain the owner's backup files. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Storage
OAuth credentials are stored only in the owner's access-controlled NAS configuration. Backup files are stored in the owner's Google Drive account. Credentials are not intentionally included in backup archives, logs, manifests, or public pages.
Sharing and sale
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. The application is for personal use by its owner.
Retention and deletion
Backup files remain in the owner's Google Drive account according to the owner's backup retention policy and may be deleted by the owner at any time. OAuth access can be revoked from the owner's Google Account security settings.
Security
The application follows least-privilege access and uses the drive.file scope rather than full Google Drive access.
